Debris - Body decomposition (SPOILER)

This was one of the hero shots I was able to work on, and where I was entrusted with developing the final look. Sabash, after transforming into a teenager with the help of a piece of debris, finds himself separated from it. This causes him to lose his youth to the point of aging to the point of decomposition.The client's brief was simple enough, but the execution a little less so. However, thanks to my creativity and technical skills, I was able to produce a decomposition of the face and hand that convinced the client. The decomposition was done using a stock photo of a skull that I adapted to the face. In detail, the rot is in three subtle layers that extend over the skin, gradually revealing the bone. I also focused on the eye, simulating the effect of a cataract. The hand undergoes the same effects, revealing the metacarpals.
